I got the CD. It is AWESOME!!! For all those who don't have it yet, you are missing out. Wayne is handling the BUSINESS!!! You can play this CD from beginning to end and enjoy every minute of it. Get "A Long Time Coming" TODAY :0)!!!!!
There are a couple of things I have to note. I can't find a ringtone for Ordinary and I haven't seen a video. What's up with that???

I pray you and yours are well following the release of this record. (there I go dating myself again)
None the less, I live in the burbs of PHX and they had to order the CD.
I got it this morning and drove my co-worker crazy listening to it all day long...I called my girls told them to get it...as older single women the FWB comes in handy! (Lord will forgive me later)
I, like so many others have said, listened to it start to finish over and over again.
I'm stealing the idea of having a back in the day party!

This CD is TIGHT!!! My man Wayne, you did it the right way. Nice blend of slow with mid-tempo songs, and it has a nice old school/new school sound. This CD is one of the best of the year thus far!! Hope you come towards the Memphis, TN area. Would like to see you doing the comedy and concert thing. I have told my friends and family to go get this CD. Keep it going!!

Hi Wayne, I enjoyed your Dallas performance with the Symphony Orchestra. You have been gifted with the spirit of Sam Cooke's voice. You are so very talented and handsome too! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I am the African-American lady who was sitting behind the band with the purple (lilac) shirt on. I thought that you smiled and waved at me a couple of times. Hi Wayne! Your new CD (ok, correction--album, as I am over 35--smile) is AWESOME!!! It's mellow, relaxing and classic R&B that leaves you with a good feeling. As I was transferring the album to my iPod, I found myself rating virtually every track as a favorite. So, you will be in heavy rotation with me wherever I go. You really got me with that "'Cosby Show' at 8 and 'A Different World' at 9" line from "Back in the Day"--great memories! I fell in love with "Ordinary" the second I heard it. I won't comment on every song, but thanks for this great addition to my collection.
And, I had the pleasure of seeing you live at The Venetian on Sept. 29th! Simply wonderful and most entertaining! Keep up the great work!!

i absolutely loved you on whose line, and i thought you were brilliant with the vocals then, still do now.
however, i have a question! 'ordinary' is actually a song that was brought out by a korean boy band i'm following lately, called 'dong bang shin ki'. their song was called 'beautiful life' and i loved it very much.
yours is just as good! my question, is this: have you heard the korean version of your song? if not, i'd suggest you give it a try. :D
also, i hope you don't think i'm accusing you of ripping off their song - i'm well aware that writers sell songs to different artists all the time. and as i said, i'm loving your version just as much as i love theirs. :))) am totally buying your album!

Mr. Brady your a very talented indivdual and I wonder, have you ever done anything for the Military? :o) Not over seas but in the states? I work for a company that provides events and programs to Military families and wondered if you'd be interested. If not no biggie I just thought that my residents would LOVE to see you in action. :o) I'm not trying to solicit anything I'd just love to do an event called Wayne Brady. You were great on "Whose Line," which everyone knows of course. People like you have always been slightly annoying to me because I don't understand why God gave one person so much talent. I mean, He could have either made you a great comedian, a great actor, or a great singer.......but NO......you are all three. Anyway......thanks for the laughs. There is nothing better than REAL laughter that comes from deep down inside, and that's what I always got when I used to watch you on "Whose Line."
Now, on to your music......I have to confess that I don't own your CD yet, but my local jazz station has been playing your single, "Ordinary," and it is my new "favorite song." Thank you for recording such a beautiful song. My husband and I have been married for 26 years, and we are more in love than ever. When I heard "Ordinary" for the very first time, I thought......"He's singing about us. He is describing just the way I feel!" I just heard it on the radio again a little while ago, and I thought, "I am going to find his website and let him know how deeply that song has touched me, and what it means to me." So, thank you, Wayne. Just like your comedy touched me and brought laughter from deep inside, your music has touched me deep within, and I am grateful.
I wish you much success in all your endeavors......although I still think it's unfair that you're so talented......and I hope your CD does really well.
