Hey ladies and gents Wayne here. Before I get into my topic of conversation about the previous threads, I'd like to say thanks to a everyone who's listened to "Ordinary" or any of the other songs posted. It's a relief when you do something to not hear resounding cries of "You suck!". Now, onto the "I'm Not a Fan" stuff. To the last gentleman who posted, I remember you and our talk. I wasn't being rude to you. You wanted to press the photography issue and we had differing opinions on flash vs. regular shots. I don't like pics of any kind being taken during the show simply for the reason that i want the show to be a surprise to everyone who sees it for the first time. The reality is most people don't know what it's going to be. I love people being shocked at the Tina Turner bit when I do it. It does state no cameras on the ticket. I apologize if you felt I was being condescending to you. I appreciate everyone that pays to see me. Without an audience I'd just be a brother talking to himself. I enjoy meeting people and I'd have to say consider myself a nice enough guy. Now, that being said I'm human. I treat people the way that I'm treated. An open handshake, and a warm smile and a hug is greeted in kind. Talk to you folks later and hope to see you soon.

In case some of you missed it, go to Eurweb.com and read a very interesting and good article about Wayne. I fully understand How Wayne feels about pictures during his shows. A while ago a family member had worked for him and I was told it would be okay to snap a few photo's. Well I never did because I realized, like all performers, 99% have the same policy and reasons. It's also a matter of respect and just plain following the rules which are made for everyone.

I am also a fan, and fully understand why no cameras should be in the theatre... Wayne when I saw the show in LV you where gracious and signed the pics we bought for my daughter and friend back in Australia and they where rapt when they got the goodie bag with your picture inside ... Many thanks... will be trying our best to obtain seats for Sydney or if we have to Melbourne and bring the group to see the show. ( Say what happened to coming to lovely Queensland ) ???

Ok, in all honesty I cannot say that I was a fan of yours in the past however I always enjoyed watching you on various shows. Then I was searching itunes for some downloads and your face appeared on the screen. "Hmm, Wayne Brady, I thought he was an actor or something." Of course I had to check it out and have been playing "Ordinary" every since. Is it possible to become a fan in a day? I am living proof, why yes it is. Folks mistake my husband from time to time in thinking he is you, now if ONLY he could sing like you. LOL

I most definitely a fan, we go way back. I'm so glad that everything is happening for you as I knew it would. Hope all is well and I love the Ordinary song, can't wait for the album to come out I'm there to get it on Sept 16th.

Congrats on the CD! I can't wait for the 16th. I'll be rushing to listen to what I know will be for music lovers. Can't wait to hear the entire Sammy Davis tune, "real ole school" but timeless.
I met Waye last year at his show in Vegas and had the privilege of being the first to come on stage to laugh my but off as he sang to me about being a female Funeral Director" Mortician. I came to that show alone attending a convention, but felt as though everyone there was my friend. He has the best audiences not to mention the Venetian staff is awesome.
My fortunate interaction with Wayne following the show was one of human kindness and appreciation toward his fans. My exprience was one of fondess and admiration for such a talent. If you had a camera, he allowed photos.( After the SHOW) I can't imagine anyone using their selfish motives to disrupt a professional performance by a entertainer, then complain about their reaction.
I look forward to purchaing this CD and hopefully autographed by Wayne when I come back to visit Vegas later this year.

Wayne I don't know if you remember me or not, but when you were touring as Brady and friends and you came to Stockton, California and did a performance at University of Pacific Campus. I was the shy girl at the end of the show you came to meet because my mother went over to you to get my ticket stub signed by you (the girl in the wheelchair). I was shy I was a big fan of yours since I first saw you on "Whose Line is it Anyways?' I also watched your show you told me about then, the Wayne Brady Show, I was sad they didn't keep it up I thought it was pretty funny. I also took my husband to see you in Sacramento a few years back, anyways long story short im glad you finally have a CD out because I always knew your voice was awesome. Hopefully I can come see you if you do a tour in Northern California. It would be great if we could email each other.

Wayne - my husband and I caught your show in July and LOVED IT! You torn it up and down, twice! :) (I even bought a t-shirt!) We liked you on Whose Line but really became fans after your performance on Chappelle's Show. I'm happy to see that you've continued to do well. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to the album and your performance @ BB Kings NYC in two weeks. Keep doing you and est wishes for continued success!

Wayne...I have been down with you since "Who's Line is it Anyway?"...I love the movie "the List...I loved you even before the Chapelle skit..."...and I have be patiently waiting for this CD for awhile...when you come to the Chi let me know...because I am there...

Ok, first off I want to say I am a HUGE fan since Who's Line. I was really hoping you would make a cd and you did! I listened to all the songs you have available and I want to say YOU ROCK!
Side note, I walked down the ile to the song you sang Cinderella on my wedding day.
Awesome job on Stargate. Really wish they wouldn't have killed you off, you would have made a great return guest star!
If your ever near Detroit for tour know I will be in the show. I understand the no photos issue, and it seems some people don't respect the privacy and wishes of the celebrity.
Anyways I am off to work may you be blessed with many awesome years of awesomeness to come!

Well I am a fan. I've always loved your comedic style and enjoyed catching bits of your singing throughout, but I must admit I never expected your cd to be this good. I've been listening on your blackplanet page and it is EXCELLENT. I can't wait to purchase it. Back in the day is my favorite! Keep it up and I'm already anticipating the next one. Hope to see you in Memphis soon :-)
