| "You and Me" Music Video |
Hi from the UK and a happy and wonderful 2009 to you Wayne.
I got your cd for Christmas from my daughter and family and I just love it. My hubby also thinks it's great. The video is so moving. I think I shall be watching it over and over again.
Good luck with the sales of the album....I hope it gets good coverage here in the UK.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

This song is beautiful and I can totally relate. I just wish more people would think the same...regardless of the change in relationship status, when you have a child, you become a family.

Hi Wayne,
I've been a fan for a while, saw your show a few years back at Massey Hall in Toronto and just caught your show at the Venetian on December 28th - you are TRULY talented!!! I think it's fantastic that no one knows what the show will bring until they are experiencing it.
We were also lucky enough to bump into you in the elevator the next day.. Not sure if you remember the couple where my bf asked 'is that you Wayne' and you said 'Yeah, is that YOU?' lol! Quick on your feet mista! I mentioned what a great dancer you are and you said 'it would suck if I wasn't' lol x2!!
This new video is amazing! It's refreshing to see an artist use REAL LIFE in a song and very admirable how you carry such class with regards to your ex wife and daughter.
Anyhoo, I just purchased your cd from iTunes and congrats on the Grammy nod. Who knows if you read any of this stuff but on the off chance that you do, I wanted to say you have long time fans in Toronto and one of the highlights of our trip to Vegas was definitely catching your show!!!

WOW...WOW...WOW!!! First let me start by saying that I had no idea that the gift of Wayne Brady walked this earth until a few weeks ago when I purchased the cd. I, of course, had heard the name and seen the face but never had a chance to observe and experience the numerous gifts that you embody.
Responding to blogs, going to artists websites, etc. is not something I do. I am a fan of music and the creative source that gives birth and delivers it. Music is spiritual...inspiring and has always been my retreat. However, with the deep appreciation and love I have for music it is rare that an artist truly ignites the fire that you have ignited in me. Your voice is absolutely beautiful and your use of it is exceptional. I am in love with your cd. I have listened to it almost everyday since I purchased it and still can't get enough of it. So much so that I finally sat down and read your insert, found this website, and am now writing on a blog. BE PROUD OF YOURSELF :). Anyway, I also looked at the "You and Me" video and it brought tears to my eyes. That says a lot as well.
Wayne Brady...you have new fan. I look forward to following your career from this point on and will pray that you continue to bless us with the divine gifts that have been bestowed upon you. My only request is that you one day find your way to Atlanta to perform. Peace and Blessings!!!!

Wayne - I just had to say how much I enjoyed your Vegas show on Dec. 28th. I have been a fan since watching Whose Line, and the show was even better than I expected. I love Vegas and had a great trip, but my friends and I agreed your show was the highlight. I'm a big fan of Don't Forget the Lyrics as well. Congrats on your Grammy nomination!

Hey! I love how the video turned out! It couldn't have been better! I was an extra in the background for this video as well as the song "A Change is Gonna Come" and I was just wondering when that video would released, or if it is even going to be. Just curious. Congrats on your success!

oh my...thank you
Have enjoyed you forever...now that I have a round headed grandson, my "man in the moon, Micah", I realize that it is your head that so intrigues me, as a CranioSacral therapist of 23 years. Maybe that has something to do with your genius?!

This is my favorite song on the album and I still continue to listen to it over and over.
The lyrics are very personal to me as I've been divorced for 5 years now and feel the very same way. I'm still friends with my ex and his new love and work together with them to make sure our 6-year old daughter understands that no matter what, we both love her.
Thank you for doing what you do.

Wayne,
"You and Me"
Enjoyed the video, very true to the lyrics, interestingly enough, I recently flew in from the Bay Area to see you perform at the Venetian. I had been to Vegas in December and was unable to attend so; this trip was specifically designated with the sole purpose of seeing you.
To my dismay, you got SICK and the show was cancelled. I am now finally able to write about this without tears and anguish (Make no mistake, I am looking for pity)
When fist told about the cancellation, my first thought was, "Stop playing, give him some cough syrup and he'd BETTER be performing", me, being so concerned about your health and all, “cause I’ve never had to call in sick” (lol)
After looking at the poor concierge with death, my best friend told me to breathe and we’ll be OK. Having purposed this trip with the sole intent on seeing your show, I hadn't planned anything else, nothing else mattered, life as I knew it was over, (I wasn’t quite ready to throw myself out of the Gondola)
So after sitting and starring at the walls for thirty minutes, I began to play your CD, and that
helped a lot, NOT!
I thought, I could be at home several hundreds of dollars richer, listening in any of my many rooms. (Ok, I have a one bedroom, but I have a CD player in the bathroom, and the living room/kitchen and dining room are connected, so that constitutes many, at least for my sake of pittyment)
I did ask about your health and was told you would be fine, So now that my tears have dried, and I find that I’m no longer ready to kill you; I listen once again with glee and have come to accept that me seeing you perform live will just have to be a fantasy between “you and me”
Hope you feel better, don’t know if and when I’ll see you, but I will still listen and purchase your music, because your CD was worth the pain, and anguish. I truly understand what the hype is about, it’s phenomenal, and that’s not a term I through around without warrant.
I hope you feel much better, slow down a little and continued success,
Lo

Wayne Brady!
I just saw you in Vegas; thanks for making me your sound effects girl!! I never thought I could sing Tina Turner and speak French about cat earrings in the same breath!!
This video is fantastic!!!!
It has always been obvious, even during Who's Line, that music is your first love. I'm an actress/singer in my spare time; I just finished being cast as Maureen in RENT as the rights have recently been released.
So I was thrilled when you recorded a CD!
I am a divorcee like you, but I am getting remarried to the love of my life. No joke he is an professional actor, and heard Ordinary and now sings it to me.
Having watched this video, I have to say both songs speak to our hearts (because I finally figured out that staying with a high powered lawyer in the huge house etc but being abused and watching my kids being abused was a lie of a life). Ordinary is so special to us, but this video had me sitting here with tears streaming down my face (Tito, pass me a tissue)!
I hope that one day my ex will realise what you obviously have realised; we are always a family because we had three beautiful babies together. Despite the abuse, I will love my ex til the day I die and our family will be a family forever. The best thing though is that now I have two beautiful families.
Thanks so much Wayne Brady, it was an absolute pleasure and honour to share the stage with you and I'll never forget it!
All my love and blessings,
Linda D'Ascanio

Thank you.. My X husband, son, and I briefly met you in Las Vegas. Your soul captivated my heart and I knew you cared for all your loving fans. This song speaks to our family and I thank you for putting how we feel in words. I sit here crying knowing that you also have felt the pain of divorce but can come out of the pain knowing that family will and always is the most important attribute in life. Thank you Mr. Brady much much respect...

Well, Wayne, you seem to have recorded some great music. I've seen you sing plenty on "Whose Line is it Anyway?", but I knew it was only a matter of time before you came out with some recorded songs that weren't improvised. "You & Me" really is a beautiful song. Sounds like a great song to listen to in tough times like these. I love it. Anyway, keep up the good work with your Vegas act and I will definitely keep watching "Don't Forget the Lyrics". Thanks a lot, eh?
A Canadian fan who's not bald,
Nik
